CONCEPT
grado believes that lifestyle philosophy is dug out from daily life, especially from those too familiar to catch one’s attention like food. Sisi Hong, the furniture designer with grado, however, seized the characters of crescent rolls. When Sisi was working on her master degree in Pratt Institute in the US, crescent roll was one of her favorites for its convenience and tasty flavor. So she was naturally inspired by the bread’s shape and characters, aspiring to make it a real furniture product.
Sisi Hong
An internationally trained Industrial Designer who graduated from the MID major of the Pratt Institute in New York. She cares about tangible products in daily life that are close enough to people’s daily life and tries to work as a designer to create better products for a better life.
