The Zong Sofa series draws inspiration from the Zong, a traditional Chinese dish made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves, typically enjoyed during the Dragonboat Festival. The geometric design and softness of the Zong were key elements incorporated into the Zong Sofa’s design.
Designer Sisi Hong selected high resilience foam to mimic the softness of the Zong, while intentionally omitting the built-in frame to achieve a lightweight sofa that provides sink-into comfort. The Zong Sofa is designed to be easy to carry, making it a convenient piece to refresh your living space.
To further enhance the seating comfort, grado has developed the Zong Sofa Soft. This variation features an extra cushion filled with goose down on top of the high resilience foam upholstery, creating an even softer and more luxurious seating experience.
